TIP #1: REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP PROPERLY

To you, makeup lover! You know that the basis for healthy skin is to always remove your makeup thoroughly in the evening before going to bed. It’s important to remember that many impurities settle on our skin and accumulate throughout the day. Especially if you apply several layers of makeup (including concealer), impurities and makeup residue can clog pores and cause blackheads and pimples to appear . Don’t skip this step; it’s essential, and the result promises to give you a fresh complexion. Beautiful skin is, above all, clean skin that can breathe and regenerate overnight. Even if you’re lazy, all you need to do is take a cotton pad, some micellar water  to remove impurities, and voilà! Remember to focus on areas with imperfections, but without rubbing to avoid any form of irritation.

TIP #2: GENTLY CLEANSE AND PURIFY

Cleansing your skin is good, but using cleansing products that don’t attack the skin is even better. No need to use products that will strip your skin to cleanse. If you have blemish -prone skin , don’t try to use products that will attack your skin. Instead, choose gentle products that purify it while respecting it. Indeed, when you use a product that is too stripping for the skin, it will lose its hydrolipidic protection and produce even more sebum to protect itself. So, why attack your skin so much when you can offer it suitable care that soothes it, regulates it and makes it healthier ?

It is therefore particularly important to use cleansers with gentle cleansing agents and surfactants that will cleanse without attacking your skin, such as those made from sugar or coconut oil for example. Be careful to use non-comedogenic products to avoid the appearance of a multitude of spots and blackheads . So, we recommend that you cleanse your skin thoroughly, morning and evening, but always with suitable and gentle products . To cleanse gently, as we saw above, micellar water can be applied to a washable makeup remover pad. The micelles act simultaneously to flush out bacteria on the skin, and you are rid of impurities. To perform a more in-depth cleansing treatment, you can use the ultra-soft cleansing brush , which will not attack your skin, or  the very soft konjac sponge with antibacterial properties.

TIP #3: MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN WELL

Healthy skin is above all well-hydrated, well-balanced and supple skin that shows no signs of dehydration. Remember that oily skin is not hydrated skin, quite the opposite, just as nourished skin is not hydrated skin… Generally, this type of skin lacks hydration. Many people are confused about this. So, it can have too much sebum, but lack water. In addition to mattifying it or regulating its sebum, it is therefore necessary to hydrate it well , with sebum-regulating moisturizers. Hydration also comes from within, remember to drink at least 1.5 L of water per day, it’s a detail, but it’s very important. As an alternative, you can also consume products that have a high water content, such as watermelon which contains 90% water or even better cucumber which breaks all records with more than 95% water. You see, hydration isn’t that complicated, especially when we can easily include it in our daily lives, and it’s essential for strengthening the immune system. So, don’t forget to consume healthy, hydrating products to keep your metabolism in shape.

TIP #4: USE NON-COMEDOGENIC PRODUCTS

A comedogenic product is a product that will form a film on the surface of the skin and therefore contribute to clogging the pores , which leads to the appearance of blackheads and comedones , and then eventually, spots . Oils, foundations, powders, blush… As you know, many skincare and makeup products are comedogenic. You should be particularly wary of those that contain mineral oils. These are generally included in cosmetics and form a film on the skin to reduce dehydration, but clog the pores . For example, mineral oils are certainly inexpensive but pollute and have few properties on the skin. As for vegetable oils, they have nourishing and moisturizing properties and are full of vitamins. But be careful! Not all vegetable oils are necessarily recommended! Some, however, which are very popular with natural skin enthusiasts, such as coconut oil , can be comedogenic and therefore not recommended for oily and blemish-prone skin . It is therefore necessary to check the composition of your products, so that they are suitable for your skin type and for combination to oily skin with imperfections , ensure that they are not comedogenic.

BUT THEN WHAT ALTERNATIVE?

The  Hydra Mattifying Fluid is non-comedogenic . This means that it has been tested in a laboratory to prove that it is not comedogenic. Be careful with comedogenic products , especially when choosing your BB cream, for example, because we often apply a thick layer. Your skin must be able to breathe throughout the day.
